• Roam 50GB – Priced at $50 per month, this plan includes 50 GB of Roam data. It’s ideal for occasional or low-usage travelers who need internet access for light browsing or basic work tasks while on the road.

• Roam Unlimited – At $165 per month, this plan provides unlimited Roam data, making it a great choice for full-time RVers, digital nomads, and those who need consistent connectivity on the go.

Starlink Mini Option:
For ultra-portable needs, the Starlink Mini is a compact, backpack-sized kit perfect for travel. It includes a built-in WiFi router, lower power consumption, DC power input, and can deliver download speeds over 100 Mbps.

Need Faster In-Motion Speeds?
The Starlink Flat High-Performance dish is specifically designed for in-motion use. It offers better connectivity in tough environments with download speeds up to 220 Mbps and upload speeds up to 25 Mbps, outperforming the standard dish for high-speed mobile use.

While it’s possible to install Starlink Roam on your own, professional installation is strongly recommended. Mounting the dish improperly or routing cables incorrectly can lead to weak signals, equipment damage, or connection loss while in motion. Yes—Starlink Roam is built for RVers and nomads who need dependable internet in remote areas or while traveling. When installed professionally, the system provides strong, stable service, even in hard-to-reach locations. Our team ensures that your dish is mounted and aligned for the best possible signal wherever your travels take you.

• Starlink says that you can expect a speed between 25-225 Mbps with latency around 20–40 ms, a notable improvement for rural locations. However, what we’re used to seeing as professional installers, considering there are little to no obstructions, you should be somewhere in the neighborhood of 170 Mbps – 300 Mbps. That is based on a nationwide average using over 1,400 installs as examples.
• There are now 2 residential plans to choose from as of 05/01/2025 – The Residential unlimited plan for $120 per month, and the newly added Residential Lite plan for $80 per month. Residential Lite customers may experience some slower speeds during peak hours. In either event, you can pause, reactivate, upgrade, or downgrade whenever you choose.

• Starlink’s business plans typically deliver speeds of 300-450 Mbps from device to internet and 450-900 Mbps from device to router in optimal conditions. While these speeds are not Starlink’s official estimates, they reflect what we commonly see during installations with no obstructions.

The Starlink Enterprise hardware usually costs $700, while the Flat High Performance hardware is currently $1,500. Monthly plans start at $65 for 50GB, $165 for 500GB, $290 for 1TB, and $540 for 2TB of priority data (as of 05/01/2025).

• Each installation is unique, but for most residential setups, the process typically takes 3 to 4 hours. In some cases, it can be completed in as little as 1.5 hours, depending on mounting requirements and site conditions. After installation, Starlink may take up to 12 hours to fully optimize, as it downloads updates and maps satellite connections for the best performance. The good news? We’ll be able to confirm that your system is working and provide a clear idea of what your regular speeds should be after optimization.

If Starlink is at capacity in your area, you can join their waitlist through the official Starlink website. However, there are still ways to get service sooner:

• Starlink Roam – This plan allows you to order Starlink for use in areas where capacity is available and then bring it to your location. Keep in mind that performance may vary in high-capacity regions.
• Flat High Performance – Since this plan is designed for mobility, it may still be available even in areas where residential service is full.
• Business Plans – Starlink sometimes prioritizes business and enterprise accounts, making these options worth considering.
